New digital and communication technologies are having a profound impact on society and our daily lives…

ear colleagues,

New digital and communication technologies are having a profound impact on society and our daily lives. For companies, these technologies bring with them a dual challenge: business transformation and behavioral change.

It was for this reason that Olivier Andriès made digital transformation a major objective for Safran when he took office in January 2021. Fueled by his firm beliefs – and underpinned by a clear vision – recent months have seen an unprecedented momentum across all Safran companies and businesses.

It’s now widely accepted that digital transformation is a game changer. A powerful performance and development accelerator, digital technologies have also given a huge boost to collaborative processes, introducing new ways of working and fostering new attitudes within the company.

Safran’s Digital Academy, launched in June, reflects this dynamic. Open to all, it’s a showcase for the change taking place across our organization. So, go to the website and do the Jump In! course — a set of fun e-learning modules that take you through the key aspects of the digital transformation at Safran.

I’d like to thank the 850 Safran people who are leading more than 600 digital transformation projects in four streams: Engineering 4.0, Manufacturing 4.0, Sales, Support and Services 4.0 and Data 4.0. For the Employee Experience 4.0 component, I’d also like to thank the 1,100 SHIFTers, who are training their colleagues in new collaboration tools, as well as the digital, HR and communication teams, who play a vital role in change management. Safran’s digital transformation is scaling up and speeding up. It’s a decisive factor in the Group’s attractiveness. So, what are you waiting for? Time to Jump In!
